In today's episode, Bronagh speaks with Ciara Feehely, Head of Communications and Fundraising at Vita Ireland. Vita is a smart, successful, next-generation Irish development partner that has been supporting farmers and communities in Africa for more than 30 years.

Their goal is to facilitate thriving rural climate-smart economies in Africa with access to services, markets, and livelihoods for all. Their approach combines knowledge-backed, expert collaborations, community-led initiatives, transformational technology, and innovative financing models.

Ciara joined Vita in 2015 after having been on the board for a number of years. Before joining Vita she worked in EirGrid as their Senior Lead Communications Specialist. She also worked with RTÉ and the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers' Association. It was her interest in social justice and environmental issues that encouraged her to join forces with Vita.

Bronagh and Ciara spoke about gender inequality caused by climate change, the areas Vita Ireland works in and how they differ to Ireland, how crucial carbon offsetting is, and how inequal the effects of climate change are on various communities.

In today's episode, Bronagh speaks with Irish writer, Siofra O'Donovan who has been writing the What About Us story for some time now. Siofra gave a brief summary of the plot of the story and shared her own writing experience which has helped her immensely in approaching this unique project and story.

Siofra is a much sought-after author whose recent book about Kevin Barry, Yours Til Hell Freezes: A Memoir of Kevin Barry, was recently published by Currach Books. She is also a writing coach, creative writing workshop facilitator, and creative meditation facilitator for the Writers in Prisons and the Writers in Schools Panels by Poetry Ireland and the Arts Council of Ireland.

In today's episode, Bronagh chats with Shoshi Israeli, one of the Co-Founders of What About Us. Shoshi spoke about what it was like to grow up in the conflict, the importance of working towards peace, and how she feels the What About Us musical will make a difference.

Shoshi Israeli is one of the creative driving forces behind What About Us. She is an Artist, Dance Teacher, Choreographer, and the Founder of COBENA FLAMENCO. Her countless achievements as a performer and educator have earned her recognition both nationally and internationally. Originally from Jerusalem, she now lives in Madrid.

She has led several peace projects with groups of Israeli and Palestinian artists and feels strongly that people can work together in peace and harmony even when politicians do not or cannot.

In today's episode, Bronagh speaks with Stephen Byrne, one of the Founders of What About Us about the musical and wider movement. They spoke about how he came up with this innovative, creative idea to spread awareness of these global issues and reflected on the progress of the workshops so far and what Stephen hopes will come out of the remaining three weeks.

Stephen has over three decades of experience building businesses. He has been involved with many large-scale international projects leading multi-disciplinary teams across varying business sectors. Over the past number of years, he has gotten more involved with the not-for-profit sector.

It is this not-for-profit work that led him to create What About Us. He has a long-term interest in the pursuit of peace in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and in the evolution of the Northern Ireland peace process.
