I'm Gary, and whether your 60, 70 or 80 or continuing to age like a fine wine in your own way, well this mic is for you.

This is a space for seasoned voices, timeless stories, and real conversations. Because let's face it; we lived through rotary phones, disco, cassette tapes, intro of the mac, and yes of course, AOL, You've got mail. We've got plenty to talk about for sure.

Here's what the show is about. In each episode, we'll sit down with inspiring guests - some famous in their own minds, and some just famously interesting. Real people chatting about real things that we all think about as our days seem longer and the years seem shorter. Our hope is that we have stories and conversations that will make you laugh, cry and nod your head like, Yep, been there for sure.

Our segments will be each be different with episodes reminding us of back in the day where nostalgia meets humor and life lessons from folks that have been there done that, mic drop moments with unfiltered takes from people just like you and me. From time to time we will sprinkle in a topical expert who has dedicated their time and energy to subjects concerning the art of aging.

And yes, we'll occasionally rant about why everything used to cost a nickel.

Aging gets a bad rap. But here at the Golden Mic Series we celebrate it. We believe your voice matters, not because it's l0ud, but because it's full of life, full of miles travelled and full of meaning.

Next episode, we're kicking things off with a guest who at age 78 has made boredom optional, and who in her own words, "wrestles with the ups and downs of staying relevant"

So hit that follow button, tell your friends, or shout it across your retirement community. "The Golden Mic Series" is officially live.
