Join us for the UMY Nights!

Migrant youth often navigate the duality of their cultural heritage and contemporary culture, complicated by disinformation and a lack of role models. To address this, the Creative Muslim Club (CMC) has launched UMY (Urban Migratory Youth) Nights—a blend of storytelling and artistic expression turned into a get-together and podcast recording, where generations come together to foster a sense of belonging and understanding. The UMY Nights will host podcast sessions with different themes each month, from fashion & ethics to creative authenticity. UMY is rooted in أمم (umm), symbolizing community and unity. Through art and storytelling, we aim to create a sense of belonging, just like the ummah—a community united by faith, stories, and shared values.
