This first episode will share some of my story about my personal introduction to the talents of Aaron Tveit as well as share some of Aaron’s own key career highlights and timelines. On May 11, 2024, Aaron performed his first solo concert with The Pacific Jazz Orchestra at The Soraya Stage. To say that this concert was incredible would be an understatement. But the most anticipated song of the night was Roxanne and Aaron performed that song not one but twice and opted up not once, but twice and everyone in the audience and those who saw videos of it are still trying to recover. And just like that, 12 weeks of Sweeney Tveit and the revival of Sweeney Todd have come to an end. What an incredible run both the show as a whole and Aaron had. It was such a privilege to be able to witness that magic that Aaron, Sutton and the entire company created on stage night after night, show after show. May 5th was electric and such a special show and my friend Jill is back with me to recap and highlight favorite moments from the final show.

On Wednesday, we sat across the aisle from the legend himself, Lin Manuel Miranda! Another Broadway icon, Neil Patrick Harris attended the tale for Saturday Night on Broadway. Each time I've had the opportunity to attend the tale, I feel like I focus on a new point and come out of it with new thoughts and feelings about the events and lyrics. It's absolutely phenomenal and Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster continuously level up their performances.

From Doorways to Where, to Something Real, to Sour Macaroons, to gassing up the Happiness Bus, Topher was much more prevalent in Season 2.

Taking it way way back in time to the Upper East Side life of Gossip Girl, when Aaron played a young, manipulative politician named Tripp van der Bilt. It's been a long time since I have watched this series and back when I did watch it, I didn't yet know who Aaron was. So for these next two episodes, I have rewatched just Aaron's episodes of Gossip Girl and have focused on his storyline as Tripp and how his character and his actions become intertwined with the other main characters of the show. I had the privledge to be in the audience for Aaron's first show back on January 17, 20223 and it was and absolutely unforgettable, electric experience! Return to the Rouge is actually going to be a two parter because there's just so much to dive into: from the audience, to Aaron's presence, to the small and big moments of the show...it still feels so surreal that Aaron is back and that I had the opportunity to be a part of it! Okay okay, as Spooky Season comes to an end, it seems only fitting to cover Aaron's two roles in American Horror Stories. Adam the contractor in Rubber Girl Part 2 and grieving father, Jay Gantz in Feral. Both episodes have elements of horror, but his Feral episode is the psychological stuff of nightmares. Both roles that Aaron plays for the series are very different and they were Aaron's first opportunity to be exposed to acting in the horror genre. Happy (early) Halloween!
