On the morning of June 14, 2024, dangerous criminal Joshua Zimmerman slipped out the backdoor of DeSoto County Courthouse in Hernando, Mississippi, and disappeared for 67 days.

In the days that followed his escape, DeSoto County Sheriff Thomas Tuggle would claim that Zimmerman exploited a security flaw in the buildings design, which later turned out to be an unlocked door on the third floor of the courthouse. The Sheriff would also claim that luck was on Zimmerman’s side that day, as the dangerous criminal was out of the city limits of Hernando in less than 10 minutes. However, it later transpired that Zimmerman had methodically planned his escape and was aided by an outside network.

For the first time, learn how in the months leading up to his daring escape Zimmerman planned nearly all of bid for freedom over the inmate phone and messaging system. Also discover how Zimmerman accessed a contraband network to not only supply him with a handcuff key and cell phone, but also, aid him in his bid for freedom. We also reveal how his mother used Facebook photos to send him coded messages to signal to him when law enforcement changed their focus from the small north Mississippi town, to the bright lights of Memphis, just over the state line in Tennessee.

When it comes to the case of dangerous criminal Joshua Zimmerman, the truth is truly more starling then the fiction.

For exclusive content, don't forget to subscribe to TVMO Media and for an ad free experience listen on Apple Podcasts.

But when Talley refused to cooperate with law enforcement and several people became intertwined with the case, it appeared there was a much bigger picture at play, but SPD could never prove it.

Then, when SPD arrested Zimmerman some 48 hours after he tried to kill Talley, a lot more bizarre and compelling insights were learned about the crime and the connections between Talley and Zimmerman.

Don't forget you can subscribe to TVMO Media for exclusive content.
