This is where it all begins. In this first episode of Trauma Heal Flourish, I share the story I have never told out loud in full — the losses that brought me to this microphone and the moment I finally stopped pretending I was okay. I lost my brother to gun violence. Then my son's father. Then my dad. Then my little brother — also to gun violence. And then my son was accidentally shot in the head. Four people gone. A child fighting for his life. And me, holding all of it together on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside. This episode is my origin story. It is raw, it is real, and it is the reason this podcast exists. I didn't start Trauma Heal Flourish because I have all the answers. I started it because I spent too many years healing in silence — and I refuse to do that anymore.
