Welcome to The Golf Strong Project!

This podcast is brought to you by Dr. Jackson Taylor and Dr. Tim Rivotto, two Physical Therapists who are changing the world of Golf Performance.

The goal? Educate the golfing world on strength training, conditioning, rehabbing from injuries, and doing it all without the silly BS that is thrown out there every day.

The podcast will cover topics from why strength training matters for golfers, how you can get back to the golf course after injury, and why golfers are athletes too. There may be some philosophy, coffee discussion, and musings on how to be the best person you can on and off the golf course sprinkled in here too.

The Golf Strong Project is back this week talking all things about being an ATHLETE on the golf course.

Jackson and Tim are joined by Pat Bigelow PGA, lead instructor at Pure Drive Golf in Woburn, MA. Pat got into golf as a kid and ended up leaving a job in the financial services industry to follow his passion with golf. He was an Assistant at Dedham Country and Polo Club and Winchester Country Club up in MA. He's studied under Butch Harmon (legend) and Adam Kollof (legend, owner/founder of Pure Drive Golf).

Pat is a great swing coach nominated for Golf Digest's Best Teachers Under 40. He takes a unique approach to each golfer he works with based on their sport experience (in and out of golf), learning style, and goals.

The guys talk about:

- What being an athlete means

- Why it's important to be athletic in your golf swing

- How being athletic is different for different people

- How strength and conditioning/training and golf instruction go hand in hand

Check out Pat's awesome content @pbigelowpdg on Instagram and if you're interested in learning more about Pure Drive Golf (in my opinion the best golf facility in MA), go to www.puredrivegolf.com/.

As always, Like...Subscribe...and click the bell for notifications when new podcasts drop.

If you prefer to look at our beautiful faces check us out on Youtube at: https://youtu.be/vt_MX2G9608

You can reach out to the Golf Strong Docs at @jackson.golfstrong and @tim.golfstrong on Instagram or by commenting on the video here.

Be Strong, Be Monsters!
