So, when the diabolical atrocities of October 7th were live-streamed across the internet by Hamas themselves, the world watched on in abject horror and was shocked to the core. But not surprised.

On October 7, 2023, as a massacre was unfolding in Southern Israel, Tami Raviv was in Netanya, frantically texting her daughter, Niv, who was hiding with her boyfriend, Nirel, in their safe room in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

At first, the news was good. Niv and Nirel were okay and waiting for the IDF to come and save them. But as the hours passed and there was no help in sight, Tami's efforts to connect with Niv became dire. Tami had no idea this conversation with her precious daughter would be her last.

It was an entire week before Niv and Nirel's fates were confirmed. This beautiful, young couple who were set to be engaged just days later, breathed their last breaths together before Hamas terrorists brutally murdered them.

Imagine being Niv's mother. Imagine praying that your child was taken brutal hostage, as at least she would be alive. Can you imagine?

It is impossible to fathom what Tami has had to experience and endure on October 7th and every day since. Even harder to fathom is her superhuman resilience that inspired her to transform this tragedy into a miracle.

With nothing but a vision and sheer determination, Tami decided to create the Niv Nirel Center to treat IDF soldiers with combat-related trauma, free of cost and free of stigma. To date, the Niv Nirel Center has treated 250 patients and expects to reach 1000 by 2028.

Ever since October 7th, 2023, a remarkable and remarkably disappointing phenomenon took over the global yoga community. Not just sympathy for Gaza, but blatant support for terrorists and violence, unbridled and unapologetic Jew Hatred, and a tremendous ignorance of and unwillingness to look at facts and Truth when it comes to the State of Israel and its existential war on terror.

People love dead Jews.

Dead Jews may have been murdered or massacred or burnt alive or gassed or...the list goes on. But we all know that dead Jews deserve our sympathy. For hours! Or even days! But, really, that's about the limit.

Ultimately, the problem with dead Jews is that in this day and age, Jews are not allowed to be victims. They can only be aggressors. Jews are not allowed to be the oppressed, only the oppressors. Even when, in actuality, the Jewish People are, by far, the most oppressed and victimized group in history.

But that doesn't fit the narrative. That is so uncomfortable. Because the thing that makes the Jews different is that they don't wallow in their victimhood. They transcend it and climb to incredible heights, shattering the pervasive oppressor-oppressed paradigm that is so du jour these days.

There's one easy way to fix that, especially in the Information Age: rewrite history. Rewrite and revise until the victim becomes the aggressor, the oppressed becomes the oppressor. Then all will be right in the world.

When is never?

Because "never again" was considered a moral imperative on October 6, 2023. And then on October 7, it happened again.

Impossible to imagine. But try.

Try to imagine being at Burning Man, or Coachella, or Glastonbury, or Tomorrowland. Thousands of people, celebrating music and life and love and nature and peace.

And then imagine bands of terrorists flooding the festival, both on the ground and from the air, and savagely massacring 365, kidnapping 44, and raping, terrorizing, brutalizing and torturing hundreds more, as the rest scrambled through the killing fields in a desperate attempt to save their lives.

It sounds like a horror film, but it happened. And Eitan Halley was there.

Miraculously escaping Nova, Eitan found himself hiding in a tiny roadside bomb shelter along with dozens of other partygoers, including Hersh Goldberg Polin and Aner Shapira.

Hamas terrorists ambushed the shelter, and Aner heroically threw back multiple live grenades before tragically losing his life. Hersh's arm was blown off in the attack and he was brutally abducted to Gaza and eventually murdered. And Eitan took decisive action, throwing back multiple live grenades himself before being wounded and knocked unconscious.

Lying in a pile of murdered bodies, Eitan miraculously survived. He displayed extraordinary courage, stepping into danger to protect others during one of Israel’s darkest days. His incredible story, featured in the Paramount documentary We Will Dance Again, is a testament to resilience, heroism, and the strength of the human spirit.

And for good reason.

The Arabs were actually offered a state by the UN in 1947 and 1948 but they rejected the partition plan outright because they refused to recognize a Jewish State.

Later, this refusal would be codified in the Khartoum Declaration of 1967: No recognition of Israel. No peace with Israel. And no negotiations with Israel. AKA, The Jewish State.

And so the stage was set.

We can rewind centuries or even millennia to trace the roots of this belligerence and the violence that accompanied it, but instead, let’s fast forward to 1993, the first of the Oslo Accords when it finally seemed like peace may just become a possibility.

In 2012, he founded and continues to lead the Forum for Christian Enlistment, also known as "The Christian Voice" or "Voice of Israeli Christian Eagles," to promote the enlistment of Israeli Christians into the IDF and to advocate for greater Christian representation in national and local institutions. His activism focuses on securing official recognition of Aramean identity, improving municipal services in Christian areas such as Nazareth and the Upper Galilee, and strengthening Christian civic participation in Israel. Raised and still living in Upper Nazareth, Shlayan belongs to the Aramean/Syriac Christian community, preserving the use of the Aramaic language and cultural traditions alongside his public and military service.

On that horrifying and fateful day--like all 1200 members of Be'eri--Miri, her husband, and three children hid in their home's secure room as terrorists rampaged through their community.

Ihab Shlayan (born 1981 in Upper Nazareth, Israel) is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Reserves and one of the most prominent voices for Christian-Aramean identity in Israel. Over a military career spanning 24 years, he served in both combat and security roles, becoming the highest-ranking Christian officer in the IDF. Today, 615 days later, there remain 55 hostages in brutal captivity, 20 of whom are still assumed to be alive. Among them, 24-year-old Bipin Joshi, a Nepali agriculture student who risked his own life to save his friends from the terrorist onslaught on that Black Saturday.

A foreigner who had just arrived in Israel to learn agricultural techniques to bring home to Nepal, Bipin had absolutely nothing to do with the war or the Arab-Israeli conflict and had never even heard of Hamas. Bipin Joshi, a 23-year-old Nepali student, left home with dreams of a better future, leaving his country for the first time, and joining a “Learn and Earn” program on Kibbutz Alumim in Israel. On October 7, as Hamas terrorists stormed the kibbutz, Bipin and his friends hid in a bunker. When grenades were hurled in, Bipin risked his life—grabbing one and throwing it away to save others. Moments later, he was taken captive, his final message to his cousin a heartbreaking plea: “If something happens to me, take care of my family. Be strong.” His phone was later found in Gaza, but he vanished without a trace. Israeli officials believe he’s alive, but his condition remains unknown. Sagi Dovev is an international trainer and lecturer, as well as a resilience building consultant and trainer of wounded soldiers. He is also a former Israeli and European jiu-jitsu champion. What masquerades as a well-intentioned effort to promote co-existence and understanding within the great melting pot we call America, happens to have a very dark underbelly that not only excludes, but demonizes, one minority group.

Shabbos Kestenbaum was a grad student at Harvard Divinity School in the fall of 2023. He was there to get an education from one of the most prestigious institutions on earth. The education he got, was not what he came for.

On October 7, 2023, Shabbos, an observant Jew, was astounded by the anti-Israel and deeply antisemitic vitriol that consumed Harvard within hours of the unspeakable atrocities that were committed by Hamas against the Jewish State of Israel.

The university broke out in a horrible rash of antisemitic and threatening demonstrations not just against Israel, but against the Jewish students and faculty on campus, as well. Despite pleas to the Harvard Administration to step in and take action to stop the threats, Shabbos was ignored.

Shortly thereafter, Harvard University President Claudine Gay uttered the famous words to Congress: calling for the genocide of Jews at Harvard was to be tolerated, "depending on the context."

Well, Gay lost her job and now Harvard finds itself being sued by a group of Jewish students--led by Kestenbaum--for violating Title VI and their rights to be protected on campus.

Natasha Hausdorff is a Barrister and expert commentator on international law, including the law of armed conflict, foreign affairs and national security policy. She holds law degrees from Oxford and Tel Aviv Universities and was a Fellow in the National Security Law Programme at Columbia Law School in New York. Natasha previously worked for American law firm Skadden Arps, in London and Brussels, and clerked for the President of the Israeli Supreme Court, Chief Justice Miriam Naor, in Jerusalem. He currently serves as the Chair of Urban Warfare Studies at the Modern War Institute at West Point, Co-Director of the Urban Warfare Project, and host of the Urban Warfare Project podcast. He is also a founding member of the International Working Group on Subterranean Warfare. John served 25 years in the U.S. Army, having held ranks from Private to Sergeant First Class and Second Lieutenant to Major. He was an active duty Army officer during two combat tours in Iraq. His research focuses on military operations in dense urban areas, megacities, and urban and subterranean warfare. Spencer holds a Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University, and his writings have appeared in Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and many other publications. He is considered one of the world’s leading experts on urban warfare and has served as an advisor to everyone from top four-star generals to world leaders. He is the author of three books, including "Understanding Urban Warfare."
