In this episode, I give you a glimpse into what family worship looks like in our home—and share some simple, practical principles you can start using in yours.</p><p></p><p>Here's a recap of our simple flow for family worship:</p><ul><li>Read together.</li><li>Talk together.</li><li>Sing together.</li><li>Pray together.</li></ul><p>We do this consistently every night around the same time, and in the same place.</p><p>A few things to consider:</p><ul><li>It’s helpful to briefly prepare your child’s heart prior to reading the Bible.</li><li>Giving your child some degree of ownership over the time keeps them engaged and makes it feel more family-oriented.</li><li>If things get a little wild (they will!), that’s okay. Consistency is the point, not perfection.</li><li>Do not get frustrated with your kids during this time. Roll with the punches and get creative.</li><li>You don’t need to be a pastor or have gone to seminary to do this—you just need the Spirit and the Bible! You can do this.</li></ul>]]></description>
