Welcome to The Last Tuesday Society Podcast, where the strange, the beautiful, the macabre and the utterly inexplicable are given the attention they deserve.

From the world of The Last Tuesday Society and Viktor Wynd’s Museum of Curiosities comes a podcast devoted to the subjects respectable conversation so often leaves at the door: magic, folklore, ghosts, monsters, witchcraft, death, strange history, forgotten beliefs, eccentric lives, esoteric traditions, extraordinary collections and the darker corners of human imagination.

Each episode opens a different cabinet of curiosities. We meet writers, artists, historians, occultists, academics, collectors, folklorists, practitioners and gloriously obsessive experts who have spent their lives pursuing unusual questions. Why have humans always feared the dead? Where do monsters come from? What happens when folklore becomes religion, superstition becomes magic, or an apparently impossible story refuses to disappear?

Expect extraordinary guests, obscure histories, arguments, laughter, uncomfortable questions and occasional excursions into territory that probably should have remained undisturbed.

This is not a podcast interested in telling you what to believe. Sceptics, believers and everyone wandering somewhere in between are welcome. What interests us is the story, the evidence, the tradition and that delicious moment when the world becomes rather stranger than it appeared five minutes earlier.

Pour yourself a glass of absinthe, settle somewhere comfortable and join us.

The Last Tuesday Society Podcast.

Because normality has always been terribly overrated.
