Greystone is a town wrapped in a strange, lingering fog and even stranger silences. When 13-year-old Benny Foster disappears one morning without a trace, his best friend Max Delgado knows something isn’t right. Benny, a science prodigy and generally predictable kid, left his house but never arrived at school. By the time the police start a casual search, Max is already tracing his own path—starting with Benny’s last known possession: a mysterious notebook full of diagrams, strange symbols, and sketches of doors that look more like fractures in reality than anything manmade. Max brings the notebook to his friends—Eli the techie, Zoe the stargazer, and Rae, the group's quiet observer—and together they begin decoding the strange entries. One warning stands out: “DOORS OPEN UNDER PRESSURE. BUT NOT ALL OF THEM CLOSE.” Following Benny’s drawings to a location near the woods, Max encounters a strange doorway outlined in stone, shimmering with a heatless light. He sees something—someone—through it, and realizes with sudden certainty that Benny didn’t just vanish. He went through something. Something no one else in Greystone understands, and something that may be watching them now. With this, Max and his friends begin a mission not just to find Benny, but to understand what lies beyond the Hollow Door.
