They fought and overcame themselves, following a golden thread within, the thread that leads the soul towards its highest reward, which is liberation.

From these special men and women arose teachings and scriptures throughout the ages. Around these teachings, groups were formed. Over time, they divided and transformed, giving rise to new groups, all following and celebrating the same golden thread that is laid out by the heart.

There have been great traditions, thinkers, and workers who were called and driven by the same eternal spirit. The scriptures and teachings left behind by these men and women bear a mark of renewal, and together they form a golden thread of their own. When we talk about them, then through their renewing nature, something deep within our souls begins to rejoice and call back to us. They inspire us and help us discover that very same golden thread within ourselves, the thread that leads every seeking soul back to its original state.

For this purpose, we created The Golden Thread Podcast.

We will continuously stay close to this golden thread. We may approach it through the lens of Christianity, Gnosticism, and other religions, through mythologies from all corners of the world, or through ancient Egyptian wisdom, Hermeticism, and other traditions. We will explore stories and symbols, talk about great thinkers and ancient teachings, and explore their mysteries.

And, perhaps most importantly, we will have heart-to-heart conversations about the path of liberation and about following its golden thread in real life.

This makes our podcast an invitation to you as a listener.

We would like to invite you to listen and question with us. To explore these ancient paths and teachings with an open mind and heart. To see what resonates within you, and perhaps discover this golden thread within yourself. We hope to inspire you, as so many seekers throughout the ages were inspired as they followed the golden thread in their own hearts to its good end.

Perhaps something you hear will awaken a sense of recognition. Perhaps an ancient teaching will suddenly feel close and familiar. Perhaps a story, a symbol, a joke, or a conversation will help you see the golden thread of your own path with greater clarity.

And perhaps you also have questions, thoughts, or ideas that arise. If so, you are welcome to contact us via email info@goldenrosycross-nordic.org
