Luís Sinate grew up in Mozambique with a restlessness his mother knew well: he always wanted to take a bigger step than his legs could carry. That ambition to know the world was born in the classrooms of an under-resourced school, lit up by teachers who were beacons.

Today, with over 25 years of experience across education, communication, and leadership, Luis is the founder of Afroseminarium, a commentator on RTP África, professor, mentor, and speaker. But before all of that, he was a young immigrant afraid of being rejected for who he is.

In this conversation, we talk about failure, identity, communication, and what it means to put knowledge at the service of others. And about why the comfort zone adds no value to any young person.
