Teaching with Primary Sources in the Great Plains is a podcast series showcasing innovative projects created through the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Regional Grant Program. Each episode features educators and partner organizations from across the Great Plains, including schools, museums, universities and colleges, historical societies, and educational organizations, sharing the projects they developed to engage teachers and students with primary sources. Guests highlight how they integrated Library of Congress collections and resources into their work, from interactive games and free online textbooks to digital resources, educational research, place-based learning, and classroom-ready materials. Through these conversations, the series celebrates the creativity and impact of TPS Regional Grant projects while providing listeners with inspiration for developing their own projects, practical ideas for integrating Library of Congress resources, and helpful insights and tips for educators and organizations interested in applying for a TPS Regional Grant.
