Some stories don’t fit neatly into a category. They aren’t crimes. They aren’t myths. They’re just… unexplained.

Strange Case Unit (SCU) is an investigative podcast that opens files on unexplained mysteries, disappearances, strange history, and local legends — starting in Georgia, with plans to expand wherever the stories lead.

Hosted by a real detective and a curious cohost, SCU takes a grounded, research-driven approach to stories that refuse to add up. Each episode examines the facts, the folklore, eyewitness accounts, and the unanswered questions — without sensationalism, and without dismissing what can’t easily be explained.

From remote back roads and historic buildings to lakes, forests, and small towns, Strange Case Unit focuses on cases that feel unfinished, overlooked, or quietly passed down for generations.

Listeners are encouraged to submit their own strange experiences and local legends. If a story is compelling enough, SCU may open a case file on it.

New cases released weekly.
