<itunes:title>Episode 22 - Stephen Kelly - 3 Bucks Left</itunes:title>

From a cameo role in an Irish YouTube series to full length stand up shows, Stephen Kelly, also known as 'The Cowboy', has blown up in the comedy scene over the last number of years.Stephen is the face of the 3 Bucks Left page online. After getting a taste for performing whilst on tour with The Hardy Bucks live show, he decided he wanted to keep it going after The Hardy Bucks stopped filming.Himself and Peter Cassidy, also know as French Toast, created the page as their own spin off and route into comedy. He always had a passion for creativity but was restricted with his screen time in the show because of work. Stephen is the 2nd Ex Hardy Buck character I've had on the Podcast & it never fails to surprise me how sound they are.We chat about how he got into being involved in the show as well as his admiration for the creative minds that were behind it. Myself and Stephen also discuss the concept behind the page, 3 Buck Left, and how alot of his views are expressed in a comedic way, which in turn makes him a target for criticism. Stephen is an intelligent and articulate fella with strong views that he stands by unless proven wrong. I think its a great sign of character to be able to engage in debates with a degree of plasticity.Have a listen to get an insight into Stephen, The Hardy Bucks, 3 Bucks Left and abit of shite talk inbetween.

Part 1 of this great conversation is focused on purpose, passion and vulnerability. Cold Nips developed from the longing for community and meaning in Ryan's life. The idea of Cold Nips mirrors a lot of what we discuss in the episode regarding being able to process your inner feelings as well as following the voice inside you. When looking in 3rd person, it was peculiar to think how and why me and Ryan were having the conversation. In its essence it's because at certain times in both our lives we decided to follow that voice. It's something everyone can do more of which will eventually bring yourself closer to your ideal self and help you meet new people and experience new things.Anyways, inspirational rant over. Thanks a million to Ryan for joining me, especially with the first ever Chilly Willys retreat taking place this weekend.

When I started the Podcast one of the first guests I thought about having on was this young man. I can safely say I was blown away by his attitude and demeanour. John William is a 14 year old golfer from Ballyhaunis & I could list out his accolades but I would be here all day, his wall was littered with trophies. Since picking up a golf club he has excelled at the sport. Waking up at 6am every day to practice, playing competitions every weekend and flying around the world to play with this best young golfers on the planet, John's journey was not all luck. He is one of the hardest working people I have met. Myself, John William and his dad, John, discuss John Williams career so far. From when he first picked up a club to where he is now, the lowest handicap in Ballyhaunis golf club, at 14.The highs and lows of sport, his best days and his worst days and what his goals are for the future. It was an absolute pleasure chatting to the two of them & I'm sure you will be hearing of JWB for years to come.

Firstly I want to thank Bernie for talking to me about a very traumatic and sensitive topic which affected her and her family. Thankfully the story, eventually, is one of success. Bernie donated a kidney to her daughter after she was affected by E.coli poisoning. Bernie goes into every detail of the whole process, from when they noticed something was wrong to the day she went through surgery to remove her kidney. Its an extremely captivating story and Bernie opens up about a lot that when on in her family's life. I appreciate the honesty and openness so much & hopefully he can shed some light on the importance of organ donors.

Part 2 of my chat with Gary Patterson. We continue on with our talk on the topic of travelling, Something Gary is very keen on, some of the things he has seen while in different parts of the world makes us think about what we have here. Our need to always want more is something myself and Gary try to discuss & understand. This leads us onto the topic of self worth & value, and mainly our 'idea' of the two concepts. Meditation, education, getting out of your comfort zone, we talk about how we can implement these effectively & use them as tools to help us. Another honest & open chat that opened my eyes to many things.

This podcast altered my brain chemistry. Education, Trauma, Vulnerability, Motivation, Breath work, Discipline & much more, we discuss it all. Myself and Gary could tell that we would have a great chat when deciding to do the podcast but I didn't expect over 2 hours of unfiltered in depth discussions on any topic that came up in conversation. Gary is a breath work enthusiast who has also taken part in mens circles & attended numerous retreats. Gary tells me how he is a changed a person from the lock down. This stemmed from a visit to a bio-healer where he was amazed by the whole experience. This then encouraged him to further explore similar experiences. All these activities, although enjoyable, are not primarily to have fun. He strives to understand himself on a deeper level, to process trauma & to help him in decision making. I was truly blown away by some of the information Gary told me as you can probably tell when listening. We talk about energy and vibrations which some people can be skeptical about but if you met Gary you know its real. There is a calmness about Gary which made the chat immersive & time flew by. This is the first episode which will be 2 parts just to make it more digestible. Cant wait for ye to hear this one!

A life time of football, county panel trials & featuring on the 2018 Underdogs, Gary has accumulated a wealth of GAA knowledge. He disseminates the info as Q&As, reels & posts on Instagram where people have flocked to engage.

We talk about how GAA football has developed over the past number of years in the areas he advises on & the pressure for players to keep up. Having a podcast of his own, he has chatted with a wide range of people, one of those was James Doyle, who achieved worldwide fame through the TikTok trend 'Protein Bor'.

Cian has had a very successful career in the sporting industry. He transitioned from football to personal training and has also smashed it in bodybuilding. Initially playing for Sligo u19s, Cian decided to step away from football and fell in love with weight training. His natural competitiveness drove him to compete, and win, at the highest level of bodybuilding in Ireland.

We talk about discipline and delayed gratification which he holds in high regard. One topic we talk about is how he and his friends went 90 days without masturbation. He discusses the dynamics of the challenge and talks about the outcomes he feels it may bring in peoples lives.
