It's design and implementation will evolve as my podcasting experience becomes more robust AND as I gain listeners, their input must be considered, as well. There are little to no virtual safe spaces for survivors of childhood and adult abuse survivors, survivors of sex and labor trafficking and anyone else who is seeking solace and peace from today's overwhelming toxicity and those who derive pleasure from creating or maintaining others' misery and pain.

S.I.M.M. is also a way of making THIS introverted, neurodivergent trauma survivor engage with those voices that don't solely reside inside her mind.

S.I.M.M. will publish a new episode every Thursday.

Welcome to Step Inside My Mind!

Since there are little to no safe spaces for trauma survivors, WIPs (Works In Progress), and anyone else seeking solace from society's toxicity, I believe it to be up to survivors to create and maintain them. As a survivor myself, I live inside my mind and sometimes I feel like I'm alone. Hopefully, this podcast can serve as a community of respect, inclusivity and kindness. What form that will take is still a, well, work in progress. The only constant in the Universe is Change, so this podcast will evolve as more listeners join this community.

I'm also hoping that it can serve as a way in which I can listen to voices that aren't inside my head. Not in a hallucinogenic/schizophrenic way, but in a "I spend way too much time living in there and while it's safe, it's not healthy" kind of way.

Please be patient and kind. I'm a podcast "virgin" and as an introvert this is one of THE most painful and frightening things I've ever done.
