As our civilization continues to progress, we continue to face challenges such as the destruction of our natural resources and global warming. As time passes, we require more energy, but fewer people have access to that energy. According to the United Nations, 1.2 billion people did not have access to electricity in 2010 but today it has gotten worse and is estimated to be around 733 billion people. This is the main reason why the United Nations has a clean energy goal; to provide access to all those who do not have it, especially now that energy is more important than ever (1). With all the doom and gloom looming around energy disparity, we decided to explore a couple of Sustainable Technologies that seem to offer promising results to our problems; Biomass and Wind Energy. In our 2-episode series podcast, we tackle big questions such as how the energies are cultivated, why aren't they used conventionally yet, and what the future holds for each type.
