The Purple Sunflower

In loving memory of my beautiful wife, Lulu. Purple was her absolute favorite color, and the sunflower was her favorite flower. The Purple Sunflower podcast is dedicated entirely to her.

Lulu’s love for her community—especially her passion for dogs and her brothers and sisters with disabilities—is everlasting. More importantly, it is her true legacy. She never focused on people's flaws; instead, she chose to see everyone's abilities, regardless of their challenges. She treated every person she met with deep respect and believed wholeheartedly that everyone is created equal and deserves equal access. Her lifelong passion for helping others is why she dedicated many years of her life to working as a personal care attendant.

The Purple Sunflower podcast provides vital resources and guidance on a variety of community topics, with a special focus on animal welfare, supporting individuals with disabilities, and helping families navigate a terminal diagnosis. Our most important mission is to let you know that you are not alone, and that support is always within reach.
