Mom, Kristi, and daughter, Olivia discuss personal mental health trials and successes--and often use media as a springboard for discussion.

BIGGIE: We aren't doctors. We only know our own experience. However, I will say that our experience has entailed engaging with general practitioners, psychiatrists, doctors in psychiatric medicine, counselors, and life coaches. Aside from these interactions, we are seekers. We have read a lot. Watched a lot of lectures on topics related to mental wellness. We share these things from our perspective--not as experts.

Privately Unhinged, for Olivia and me, is scary. Sometimes we share the same events and experience them completely differently. Vulnerability is the basis of all fear. 

We have dark, twisted senses of humor. Judge not and enjoy it. Judge and move on down the road. It makes no never mind to us. Olivia and I will, at the very least, have journaled and documented our variety of life. Respectfully private. Undeniably unhinged.
