Power of the Pause TV is a leadership-centered talk show that challenges the culture of urgency, overextension, and the deeply ingrained Strong Woman narrative shaping modern leadership. Hosted by Dr. Darcell L. Streeter, the series explores how intentional pause, nervous system regulation, and softness as a strategic strength become essential tools for ethical, sustainable leadership.

Grounded in learning science and human-centered design, each episode invites leaders—particularly women navigating high responsibility—to rethink what strength actually requires. Rather than glorifying endurance and self-sacrifice, Power of the Pause reframes softness not as fragility, but as discernment; not as withdrawal, but as regulated authority. Here, calm is not passive—it is power with precision.

Through reflective conversation, applied insight, and lived experience, the show disrupts the idea that leadership must be fueled by urgency to be effective. Instead, it offers a different model: one where clarity replaces reactivity, rest functions as strategy, and leaders are supported in choosing wisely without abandoning ambition.

This is not a show about doing less.

It is a space for leading with softness, practicing pause as power, and building leadership practices that endure—without burnout.

About Your Host:

Dr. Darcell L. Streeter is a learning scientist, human-centered leadership strategist, and nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of experience advancing equity through higher education, adult learning, and workforce development. She holds a master’s degree in Human Services, is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Applied Learning Sciences, and also holds an honorary doctorate in Christian Leadership.

She serves as Executive Director of Women’s Circle, where she leads programs focused on education, workforce readiness, digital skills, and economic mobility for multilingual and under-resourced women. Her background also includes senior leadership in higher education and advancement, with expertise in engagement strategy, alumni relations, and philanthropy.

Dr. Streeter is the creator and host of Power of the Pause TV and the founder and CEO of B.HER Global™. Through speaking, teaching, consulting, and media, she helps leaders embrace sustainable, values-aligned impact by redefining strength through softness, discernment, and intentional pause.

To connect with Dr. Streeter, visit:

Website: https://bherglobal.com

Website: https://www.womenscircle.org

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Drdarcell.streeter

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.darcellstreeter

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dlstreeter

What if real strength is not found in pushing harder, but in learning how to stay grounded?

In Episode 2 of The Power of the Pause, Dr. Darcell L. Streeter challenges the cultural belief that leadership must be loud, urgent, and relentless. Instead, she explores how softness through nervous system regulation, healthy boundaries, and spiritual grounding can become one of the most powerful leadership tools we have.

Blending research on burnout, chronic stress, and neuroscience, Dr. Streeter explains how dysregulation can cloud clarity and weaken decision-making, while regulation creates the steadiness needed for discernment and sustainable leadership. In the Becoming H.E.R.™ segment, she introduces Embracing Trinity, a framework that helps leaders release over-responsibility and remember they were never meant to carry everything alone.

This episode is a powerful invitation for high-capacity women and leaders to release the pressure of constant endurance and redefine strength through softness, steadiness, and support.

Featuring the closing song Power of the Pause, written and sung by Tony Coleman, this episode reminds us that stillness is not weakness. Stillness is strength.

To connect with Dr. Streeter, visit:

Website: https://bherglobal.com

Website: https://www.womenscircle.org

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Drdarcell.streeter

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@BHERGlobal

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.darcellstreeter

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dlstreeter

What if the pause you keep resisting is actually the key to your clarity?

In the first episode of Power of the Pause, Dr. Darcell Streeter reframes pausing as wisdom, not weakness. Blending research-backed insight, personal reflection, and embodied practice, she explores how the body signals the need for interruption long before the mind is willing to admit it.

This powerful conversation brings together leadership science, nervous system regulation, and the BECOMING HER™ framework to reveal how intentional waiting can restore autonomy, strengthen discernment, and rebuild sustainable power. Through guided micro-practices and thoughtful reflection, Dr. Streeter shows why rest is not falling behind. It is how leaders reconnect to themselves and lead from wholeness.

This episode is for women, leaders, and high-capacity individuals who are ready to break free from urgency, honor their body’s signals, and redefine strength on their own terms.

To connect with Dr. Streeter, visit:

Website: https://bherglobal.com

Website: https://www.womenscircle.org

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Drdarcell.streeter

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@BHERGlobal

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.darcellstreeter

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dlstreeter
