🎧 In this episode, we’re taking you with us to VivaTech in Paris - one of the world’s biggest tech conferences.

We flew there as a team of three:

- Me, Łukasz - founder of Animalhotels

- Maja Krauze, our CMO (who also edited the original video)

- And Beata Namiotko, one of our newest investors - who joined us just 12 days after we met.

Beata said yes after a 3-hour conversation with her husband and son. Her exact words: “We’re in!” Then she added, “You’re going to Paris? Can I come with you?” And she did.

In Paris, we booked the cheapest Airbnb we could find - a basement with two couches in one room.

I slept on one.

Maja and Beata shared the other couch and one blanket. No complaints — just pure startup energy.

On the last day, we decided to go bold:

We made a guerilla campaign using a Coca-Cola carton, some tape and white paper. It said:

“Love pets? Make money!”

That was our €11 marketing hack to find pet sitters at VivaTech.
