On Episode 1 of "Pocket Sweethearts", we are reviewing this buzzing, beyond-amazing Japanese rom-com- "My Love Mix-up!", staring Michieda Shunsuke and Meguro Ren.

The protagonist, Aoki, is a quirky, awkward high school boy. He has a crush on his female classmate, Hashimoto. A misunderstanding leads Aoki into thinking that Ida, who is another classmate of theirs, is the one Hashimoto liked. In order to help her keep the secret, Aoki just pretends to have a crush on Ida. Although all this was actually a misinterpretation, it coincidentally created a spark of love between Aoki and Ida.

This is arguably one of the best TV series we have ever watched. The characters, the chemistry, the romance... literal perfection.

Thank you for listening!

- Rosie & Mollie
