They are without excuse for passing judgment while committing the same vile acts as the unbelievers. Yet their lack of an excuse is worse, because they knew not just God but the goodness of God.

A stark reminder for the church.

God has clearly and plainly made the truth of His character and power obvious to man, but man has proven their unrighteousness and need of Savior by their resistance and rejection of the very God that has reached out in love. The results are a prison of man's own choosing, and de-evolution as God hands them over to the the consequences of their own choices.

Despite the reason he could have been ashamed of a lowly rag tag religion founded upon the death and resurrection of a humble son of a carpenter, Paul was certainly not ashamed and excited to share the gospel with people in the mighty city of Rome.

We too like Paul may find reasons to be ashamed, as we are flawed and not always the Christians or church we aught to be.

Regardless we too like Paul must ask God to give us a zeal and readiness to share the Gospel wherever we go.

In this message we share 4 reasons found in this passage, for why we should never be ashamed of the Gospel.

Today we remember the last supper of Jesus and His disciples in the upper room. Where Jesus gave the symbols of His Body and Blood to be remembered forever before He went to the cross. But we often forget the connection of the Last Supper to that of the Passover Supper in which they were celebrating. Today we look at the picture of the The Passover along with connection to our Lord's Supper/Communion that we celebrate in church today. And we find that the prophetic picture of the Passover is worth more than a thousand words.

John helps us understand a message of the last days, the Anti-Christ, and the Spirit of the Anti-Christ, and above all how that what we believe really does matter. Sincerity is not always enough, but believing the truth is a key to living the real life as a Christian.

Part 3 concludes our series from Ruth chapter 3 on Developing a deeper relationship with God. The picture of Ruth and Boaz is a picture of Christ and the Believer.Ruth had begun a relationship with Boaz in chapter 2, but she was not content with just a surface relationship. She wanted a deeper relationship and actually makes a marriage proposal to Boaz. In doing so we see the lessons in her interaction with Boaz of how we are to to approach our redeemer. She prepared herself, she submitted to him, and she listened to him.Likewise we are to prepare ourselves for dealing with God, we are to submit ourselves to His will and way, and embrace what He says to us. In this concluding message we see in Ruth that we are to willingly receive the gifts that are granted us, and wait patiently while he completes the work of His promises to us.

Jesus did not come to abolish or do away with the Mosaic Law. He came to fulfill it, to complete it. At the same time in the eyes of the religious rulers, and many of the jews, Jesus was violating the law, or at the very least moving the lines of what was permissible and what was not. In truth however, Jesus was not moving the lines of God's law, but rather correcting the definition as understood by man and the religious leaders. In essence re-defining the law.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, the final sacrifice that was ever required. He also was the greater teacher of the law, because He as God gave it.
