💫With the original Starman retired, his old foe, The Mist, continues an old vendetta against Starman as he returns and takes the life of the hero's oldest son. Now, Starman's rebellious younger son Jack is forced into a role that he does not want and has spent a lifetime denying...

💫Join host Corey as he looks back at issue 0 of the 1990s DC Comics Starman series written by James Robinson and illustrated by Tony Harris where we are introduced to:

• Jack Knight the youngest son of Golden Age hero Starman and our reluctant hero
• Ted Knight the original and retired Starman
• David Knight, Jack’s older brother whose death is our inciting incident in the hero’s journey
• The fictional city of Opal City
• Jack’s love of antiques and junk

💫And more as he dives into the story behind the story as well as ends the show with a history lesson in the era’s pop culture along with the creation of the Opal City Archives playlist.

💫Special thanks to Lorien Anderson for research assistance and Captain Xplody for creating the Opal City Archives theme.
