In this episode, we explore parent–infant relationships and infant mental health, highlighting the work of Parents Plus, a charity that uses psychological approaches to support parents, carers and young children, alongside the Nurturing Families Service in Cwm Taf Morgannwg, which leads a specialist parent–infant team providing therapeutic support to babies most vulnerable to early trauma across the region.

Diabetes team from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales talk about the effectiveness of co-delivering mental and physical health support with easy access to psychological expertise for both patients and staff in a young adults clinic for Type 1 Diabetes. We are also joined by a young adult who has received support from the clinic about the positive impact this joined up delivery had on her mental health and wellbeing.
