As we start to move to the elections, and, having lived and worked in both Northern Ireland and Scotland for many years than I care to remember, I decided that I would start a weekly podcast on politics and economics... My favourite mantra is time=money. Northern Ireland is a lawless place, and most people don't realise exactly how. This podcast is accompanied by the book "The Belfast Money Machine" which covers how Northern Ireland extracts its money from Westminster, and, in part squanders it.

I was born in Lincolnshire, England, a Conservative stronghold. My parents fought about politics. My father was a Conservative, my mother a staunch Labour supporteer, and believed that everyone had the right to work, whatever the consequences. I have been a warrior since the age of five when big boys tried to steal my sweets. As I grew up, it became apparent that I would not remain in the confines of leafy Lincolnshire, and that I would travel the world. I served in the Territorial Army in the QARANC and reached the rank of Corporal at the age of 21. Life was good, even in the rigours of Libya, when Benghazi was bombed in 1986. When I moved to Scotland, there were battles with the neighbour over land, backed by then MP John Thurso Liberal Democrat, now in the House of Lords. it would appear that my intervention led to his downfall and the SNP took the seat. I have always been fascinated by Ireland, and some years ago discovered that I am 22% Irish. I was not sure then who to back, but had the most contact with the DUP. Subjected to abuse by Radius Housing Association, and illegally evicted using PSNI, and forced out of Northern Ireland, I suffered two nervous breakdowns, jailed without trial, I am is now writing the book "The Belfast Money Machine". I also worked in a kibbutz in the 1970s and in Libya and the Middle East so am taking a keen interest in what it happening there. I hope these podcasts will be of interest, and put another dimension on the world. I have a degree in IT and Spanish, and Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Economics and Risk. I am also a member of the Irish Writers Union in Dublin, shunned by the NUJ for my strong views in Northern Ireland.
