Sapsterr is someone you may know from Twitch where he is a dominant Competitive NHL eSports player. It’s also possible you've seen his hockey analysis and satire on Twitter where he has been tweeting for 11 years now since June 2015. Most recently he has started his latest venture as a writer and the reviews are already in. Grady Sas the Content Director and Producer at the Nation Network says "Big Tree Sap is up for writer Rookie of the Year on #Canucks Twitter." Dave Hall of Canucks Army exclaimed Sapsterr is "A great read here. Excited to watch the journey and see where it leads, my friend." Thomas Drance of the Athletic and Sportsnet 650 Tweeted out "He is a really promising #Canucks analyst. Damn good writer with some compelling insights, and he’s just started regularly publishing his work in longform on his own site."

We start off by chatting about his Canucks fandom and how it all started. Dustin Boydell joins the show to chat about all the latest Vancouver Canucks news and updates. To start off we get into the first few days of Manny Malhotra's tenure as the Head Coach of the Vancouver Canucks which including his first press conference with the media. During said meeting he discusses his core philosophies which are rooted in daily improvement, up-tempo practices and wanting his players to enjoy playing hockey again.

Next we discuss the latest hiring by Team Whale of Daren Hermiston as the Director of Player Personnel and Player Development. We get into his background as a player agent and look at what the people who know him say about what he will bring to the table. Then we look at the departure of Senior Advisor and Pro Scout Dale Tallon who will not have his contract renewed.

We also discuss goaltender Nikita Tolopilo's comments about former Canuck Captain Quinn Hughes, the Vancouver Goldeneyes players that chose not to leave the team during the PWHL expansion process and the news surround their pacific division rivals coaching situations.

In the inaugural episode of the podcast Rusty and Dusty get into to talking about all the most recent news surround the firing of the Vancouver Canucks new head coach Malhotra. They breakdown what General Manager Ryan Johnson said in his zoom call with the media about why it took two weeks to hire the new head coach, what qualities Manny possesses that make him the right guy for the job and how he will be assessed in first few years of his tenure. As well they get into what Ryan Johnson said about his chat with EP40 and how hiring Manny has not changed that plan if they deem his son Caleb the best player available.

The boys give their take on why they saw this coming and how it was the best choice after following the progress of the Abbotsford Canucks over the last two years. Including why the most recent season which saw the Baby Canucks finish forth last in the AHL.
