My first trip to Zanzibar was everything I hoped for and more. I came looking for beaches, but I left with so much more. I explored the history of Stone Town, got lost in spice markets that smelled like heaven, and took a dhow ride while the sun melted into the Indian Ocean. The people were warm, the food was bold, and the ocean was the clearest I’ve ever seen. Every day felt like a new memory - swimming with dolphins, walking on sandbanks, and drinking fresh coconut with my feet in the sand. Grateful doesn’t even cover it. Zanzibar, thank you for being my first.I came as a visitor, but I’m leaving with a piece of the Spice Island in me.
