Welcome back to Movies at Midnight!

This week, we're finishing Serial Killer/Slasher month with our review of Zodiac, directed by David Fincher.

On July 4th, 1969, couple Darleen Ferrin and Michael Mageau are gunned down by this unknown assailant. This killer starts to write taunting letters to San Fransisco Chronicle, calling himself The Zodiac. Paul Avery and Robert Graysmith, who both work for the Chronicle, take an immediate interest in the case, and start investigating the murders. Meanwhile, Detective David Toschi is brought in to investigate the Zodiac murders. What follows is a decade-long obsessive hunt for this killer that takes control of the lives of those involved.

Zodiac was released in 2007, and while the film wasn't a financial success, the movie received critical acclaim, with praise going to the tremendous ensemble cast and attention to detail in historical accuracy. But does the film still hold up nearly two decades later? Listen to Nikki and Cody's review to find out!
