Elena Nicholson is an actress, producer, and dance choreographer who I met by coincidence while at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts about four-ish years ago. Elena lights up every single room she steps foot in – so I was beyond excited to get to have this convo with her in my first ever very special two camera set up!! Wooo!!!

In this episode, we talk Veggietales, surviving explosions at burger joints, how to have ‘optimistic hunger,’ and learning to be yourself when the world tries to shut you down. Alexia Molinari-Giorgi is a makeup artist in the entertainment industry who I met by coincidence on a film set about a year and a half ago. She ended up being one of the biggest inspirations behind starting this podcast — not just because she’s an incredibly talented artist, but because she’s genuinely one of the coolest people to talk to. Meeting people like Alexia made me want to reconnect with the fascinating people I’ve crossed paths with over the years… and now, a year later, here we are!

In this episode, we talk about working on the Michael Jackson biopic, swimming with whales, navigating the chaos of film sets, and spooky ghost encounters. It was an absolute pleasure hanging out with Alexia — and with her dog Ziggy, who may very well be the coolest dawg to ever dawg.

We met face to face in college, but we ran a two week minecraft server over Covid that really brought us together (he didn’t give me any diamonds though.) He’s da best.

We met by coincidence around two years ago on set of a short film that involved a golden leotard, backflips, and a dance sequence that would make Kevin Bacon cry (tears of joy.) We talk the correct way to watch Star Wars, the desire to be a grandpa, finding structural discipline as a creative, and the importance of making mistakes early in your career.
