Many of those are highly recognizable to both diehard and casual fans alike. Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Walter Johnson, Bob Gibson - these are names many know without even thinking hard. But what about Mordecai 'Three Fingers' Brown? How about the Waner Brothers, dubbed "Big Poison' an "Little Poison'? Who ever discussed how good Roger Breshnahan was? The Hall is filled with stories and dedications to these and other players who've made the greatest impact on the game - but sadly, because many played before the era of mass media, their names go unnoticed.

Lost Names of Fame aims to change that, telling their stories through stats, facts, interviews and the many ways their careers impacted the game. And some stories are truly bizarre, like the untimely and mysterious death of 'Big' Ed Delahanty.

Settle in and enjoy some of the most colorful characters the game has ever seen.
