Welcome to Lights Down — an exploration of what it’s like

moving into retirement after a life of long, unsocial hours in

technical theatre. If you’ve ever worked those hours yourself, in

a career that was more than just a job, I think this one’s for you.

I’ll share my own experience and reflections — not advice. I’m

not a life coach or a finance expert, just someone talking their

way through it.

Each episode, I’ll be looking at the personal and emotional side

of leaving a career like this, and how the practical stuff —

including money — weaves through it, in my own experience. I

hope some of it resonates, and that it’s worth half an hour of

your time.

You can get in touch and find out more at

https://lightsdown.co.uk/

Intro/Outro Music:

Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):

https://uppbeat.io/t/matt-stewart-evans/final-waltz

License code: OKNFKWDRQHNFFFRG
