While I am learning how to use this platform, you will probably see things evolve and change.

My first topic concerns a decision by STM (Société de transport de Montréal) to dramatically change the 195 bus route removing connections from Ville Saint-Pierre in the Eastern end of Lachine. Below I have included a link to an interview on the CBC radio program Daylight Montreal taped on 20-SEP-2024.

This interview came about as a result of a complaint about the local 195 bus route being dramatically changed. The old route would have taken me 1 bus and about 20 minutes to get to The Teapot 55+ Seniors Centre (one of my new favorite places in Lachine) but now it takes over an hour and sometimes up to two buses.
