Questioning techniques when students don't answer your question correctly. How to respond in a way that saves face and encourages them to participate in the future.

When calling on a student in class, don't say, "No that's not the answer." Instead tell the student what question they did answer correctly. This helps them feel safe in the classroom. Students will participate more when we help them meet 3 C's of Confidence, Connection, Competence then they will Contribute.
