She goes to escape but she's caught by the guards, and they bring her to Narcissus. He gives her an ultimatum, and Angel outright refuses, taking a sharp blow to her ribs for it.

In a brief moment, her powers awaken and she escapes.

Kendall spots her and rushes to her aid. They head out further, into the bustling city streets.

As much as she's in pain, she states her purpose that her Grandmother instilled in her. She refuses to participate in such an egregious act of corruption.

They reach the stronghold and have a quick moment before they step jnside...

She calls out the act of using others for her own comfort, something Angel greatly despises.

In an attempt to get her way, she tries to exile Angel, only to find out her Grandmother, before she died, gave control of the alliance to Angel.

In her first act of power over the alliance, she terminated all orders and contracts against Honibea, safeguarding her from a massive hunt.

Kendall announces that he will be working exclusively with Angel, for all future gatherings.

The very reason why Angel tolerates humanity is because of Honibea, the one who is a guide. This is the story of loss and the birth of an unexpected hero...

After a tense confrontation, Honibea tells Angel that there's another contract established. Angel is in disagreement with it, and tells Honibea not to wait too long to help her people.

Angel gently corrects her, explaining the dynamics with hilarious wordplay.

However, she sees Angel's humanity, though she doesn't want it to admit it, but she will demonstrate it.

On the way home, Angel gives their favorite vendor a financial boost, and he calls her an angel.

Honibea teases her a little, telling her how happy he was when she helped him.

Honibea wants her to live, to be a little more connected. She brings up Kendall, when Angel starts to doubt that humanity has the ability to overcome their fog of deception.

She puts her foot down, her stance clear and concise. She is no longer doing anymore sneak attacks. She is walking away from the bloodshed and will do what she can to stem the problem rising in the quiet city.

Angel is proud, because she just wants her to have peace.

Honibea gently suggests that she goes out with her crush, Kendall, saying that she has to at least try and see the more beautiful side of humanity, instead of being so disappointed in it.

She waits for him, her elegance and wittiness drawing him to her.

The conversation ends with him kissing her on the cheek, leading her to the realization that maybe, just maybe she might be able to be happy, in the midst of the ongoing tensions.

She smiles to herself, and finally gives him a call, inviting him over to their place, as she is willing to make this grow.

Kendall strokes her cheek, as they are enjoying the afterglow, when Honibea catches them in the act.

Angel is startled and falls off the bed, scolding Honibea for jumpscaring her.

Honibea teases her a little, knowing what took place between them, during breakfast. Angel spots the letter and she decides to take matters into her own hands.

After a little more conversation, she goes to get ready for a fierce confrontation...

Kendall and Angel head back to her and Honibea's place to tell her the terrible plan against her. However, because of how much Honibea trusted the Caprykys Alliance, it'll be hard to convince her.

Angel shows her the document that she was able to grab before it was too late, and it leads to a very uncomfortable truth.

When Angel explains the awful truth, leading Honibea to break down sobbing.

She feels terrible, after putting her to bed, her rage against the elites growing by the second. Kendall then suggests that since she's taken over, she can spend more time with him and Honibea.

At first she is resistant until Kendall explains that Honibea deserves more moments of joy with her, as herself.

She realizes he's right and she agrees, after she tightens up security for Honibea.

Angel and Kendall help Honibea calm down. Angel tells Honibea that she's safe now because of her surprise takeover of the Caprykys Alliance.

To help Honibea further relax, they have a movie night.

She lets down her walls for him, revealing her heart and soul, her reason behind her fury.

Kendall confesses his love to her directly, making a declaration of devotion and care, shattering what's left of her emotional barriers. Angel states her feelings, directly to him, the simplicity of love.

Xalaxia and Juvez share their deepest feelings with each other. He expresses his fear of losing her to the chaos, to wind up alone. She gently explains the most uncomfortable truth, about life and death.

He states that he would destroy the world if he loses her, and she doesn't refuse it, as she states that there's nothing that she can do if she is felled by the enemies.

The camaderie is free-flowing, touching on the sad state of society, until she finds out that her ex, that goes by Nemesis, attacked Juvez as a warning to her and Kendall.

She angrily vows to take care of him herself, but Kendall steps in and states that she will not be facing him alone.

Despite that development, Xalaxia pleads with Angelyka to enjoy the time given, using Angelyka's own wisdom to see reason.

She agrees, but makes a promise that he will face justice.

They are seated and they order food and drinks, they have a fun conversation. A young woman pleads with hope that they will help her and they head to the outdoor service being provided.

What they see, makes them step up and help the ones are sickened by a dishonest preacher.

Angel reveals that she has been fighting the result of her fighting against dark and evil forces.

She explains everything clearly, and she states that she has the courage to go up against the monsters in human skin.

However, Kendall insists that he cares for her, during their stay.

Kendall surprised Angelyka with a beautiful scenery, a hot tub with floating candles and sake.

In this intense but tender moment, Kendall reveals his fears concerning her health. He simply asks her to be his girlfriend, and nothing more in the moment they are sharing.

Angelyka smiles and agrees, going further to state her feelings as well.

Kendall and Akari have an intense exchange of words, and it ends with Angel hitting him in his gut for good measure.

After a standoff with the two toxic individuals, they sit down and a very interesting conversation takes place.

She reluctantly listens to the voicemail and she sighs in mental fatigue, calling him back, leading to a heartwrenching truth as to why the contract was formed.

As the argument escalated and he tells her that things would go back to normal, if she dies.

The hurtful statement causes Angelyka to faint, her heart reaching a breaking point emotionally. Kendall can see the heartache Angelyka hides behind a grin.

She wakes up in a fearful daze, sweat and tears dripping down her cheeks.

She gets up and she runs out to the deck, just to be able to breathe.

Upon looking at the face of her captor, the upwards smirk, and the manner him delighting in the torture and abuse of Angelyka, she states that she doesn't care what happens to him.

As if her evening can't get any worse, she is confronted by the bitter wife, of the disgraced pastor, taking a harsh blow to the face, upsetting Kendall. She gently calms him and proceeds to demolish the fallacy of comfortable women.

Elga, the bitter wife, then personally attacks Angelyka's status, bringing up her father and her grandmother.

Kendall snaps and lays into her, standing up for Angelyka and the changes she has begun as the new Dutchess.

After all the tension from both situations, he changes his mind and takes her to The Rosebud, where he has two surprises for her.

Xalaxia and Juvez immediately are alarmed by intruders that broke in.

Kendall appears, stopping the intrusion. Nemesis demands to know where Angelyka is, only to get a right hook by surprise. She finds out her father resorted to kidnapping the mother, Calia, and her three children.

Angered by this, she begrudgingly agrees to meet at the docks, to safeguard the mother and kids. A fight ensues between Angelyka and her father, after he finds out that he has no right to the contract that he drew up to assassinate Xalaxia, and in a cold act of revenge, he throws the mother and kids into the river, setting her off.

After the confrontation ends, Angelyka is told she is severely wounded, so she uses old tactics to shore up the wound until they get help in the other city.

At the same time, the female elders convince Angelyka to stand up for herself as an honorable Grand Priestess, not to let Jariah's actions make her question her feminine standing.

Kendall, instead of waiting for the chaos to be over, proposes to Angelyka in front of the whole village, making her smile from her soul.

They celebrate by taking the galaxy drinks together, igniting a deep, meaningful interlude.

After drinking the cosmic elixir, they go celebrate their engagement by having a very deep, passionate slowburn lovemaking moment between them. Angelyka takes every moment, every kiss and touch that sends them both into a state of bliss.

While they are being intimate, Xalaxia and Juvez have a slowburn, her soft praises and her words of love and devotion, only makes him want to keep making her blush.
