For many years special education instruction has been moving away from self-contained education and into inclusion education. This is a team effort for all that are included. It is important that teachers learn the benefits and barriers to having students with disabilities in general education classrooms. With understanding and collaboration, inclusion of special education students into general education classrooms will be more successful. Having inclusion be part of education is beneficial all students as they can learn from each other and develop meaningful skills and friendships.</p>]]></description>
