I overthink again is a laid-back Mandarin-language podcast about modern life, digital culture, identity, and the small thoughts that cross our minds.

I'm Milly, a Gen Z host. No big agendas here — just casual reflections on everyday moments and the social patterns we live through. What our generation experiences, gets confused by, laughs at, and can't quite figure out. Most episodes are just me chatting solo; sometimes I bring a friend along. No rush, no lectures, just going wherever the conversation leads.

Topics include:

Social media behavior and digital self-presentation

Identity, contradiction, and self-acceptance

Growing up with cultural expectations (especially as a young woman)

The quiet psychology of scrolling

Media influence and attention economy

Loneliness, ambition, doubt, and the small joys in between

Things that feel off but you can't explain why

This is not a debate show. It's not self-help. It's somewhere between a personal diary and cultural observation — a little reflective, a little honest, occasionally ironic.

Each episode starts with something small: a passing comment, a viral post, an awkward silence, a subtle shift in mood. From there, the conversation slowly unfolds — without rushing to a conclusion. The goal isn't to solve anything. It's just to notice.

Think Twice is for people who like to pause and sit with their thoughts — especially Mandarin-speaking young adults navigating digital life, cultural expectations, and the quiet desire to slow down.

If you've ever replayed a conversation in your head, hesitated before posting something, or questioned your own reaction to something trivial — you might feel at home here.

No burnout. No overthinking. Just a second thought.

Welcome.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

Coachella started in 1999 as a desert rebellion by a group of rock fans against Ticketmaster. Now, it's become the world's most popular influencer Olympic. Ticket prices keep climbing year after year. A simple iced latte costs an arm and a leg. And your Airbnb host might cancel your booking last minute, only to relist it for double the price.

Meanwhile, TikTok has videos teaching you how to sneak in — with comment sections cheering, "Down with capitalism." And influencers get in for free every year thanks to brand sponsorships, posting sponsored content every two hours.

So what does an ordinary person actually get out of Coachella? In this episode, the host shares her real experience: walking 20,000 steps a day in the desert, breathing in all kinds of strange smells, squeezing into an Airbnb with seven people, eating flattened croissants, and witnessing some truly wild behaviour.

Is Coachella still Coachella? And do music festivals still really belong to the music?
