In today's episode, I'd like to discuss the importance of choosing a partner who aligns with the vision that you have of your future life. In my personal opinion, dating with the intention of marriage, is more than dating a man until one proposes and marries you. I mean, it seems like the easiest thing a woman can do, is get a date with a man, be wined and dine by that man, and have a man tell her how he has fallen in love and wants to marry her.

Dating with the intention of marriage, in my opinion, is dating men who you're consciously evaluating to see if he aligns with your core values, the mission that you have for your life, and if he is able to meet your standards. In addition to how well he treats you, and how well you enjoy his company.

In this podcast we'll be discussing:

• How to date for alignment
• Why every date is essentially an interview
• Boundaries MUST be set early and respected, because. ACTIONS matter more than declarations.
• Why you must know your own life's mission and how to use it to identify your ideal partner
• Your standards are a reflection of your self-worth and are essential for your protection

• Every choice that you make in dating impacts your future children

In this podcast episode (&& it's accompanying blog post) I'm sharing my personal perspective on why love isn't enough (on its own) to maintain a healthy relationship. I'm speaking from my own past experiences. I've been the girl to be a 'friend with benefits.' I've chased after a man who told me that he didn't want me. I've been with a man who gave me anything that I asked for.

A healthy relationship requires mutual respect, commitment, intention structure, trust, as well as financial stability- among other things. I believe that both partners must give 100/100, as opposed to 50/50.

We're all adults, and perfectly capable of healing from any past trauma. && we must, if we're to be in a healthy long-term relationship. So yes, I challenge the idea that love is all a couple needs to thrive in a relationship.

In this video, we're going to be discussing a very personal episode where I go into a bit of detail of why I create content for 'christian women' when I myself am no longer a christian woman. && the answer is clear, I remember what it's like to have one foot in organized religion, and one foot out.

Personally, I have released all forms of dogma, which has provided me the freedom to take what resonates with me, and leave what doesn't from all forms of literature that I read, as well as conversations that I have.

If a woman has found herself engaging with my content, she was already on the process of deconstructing christianity. She may even be having an internal struggle because she consciously wants to leave yet is still stuck on a subconscious level. (read more about that here)

• Still use scripture that aligns with my mindset and goals
• Embrace the source of all creation, consciousness, and intelligence
• Support women as they navigate fear, guilt, shame, and ostracization after leaving christianity
• Reject all forms of dogma

• Believe that christ consciousness is accessible to all
• Advocate for emotional authenticity, and self-empowerment over false positivity

In this podcast episode (& it's accompanied blog post) we'll be discussing the emotional disconnect that can be experienced after quitting smoking. I've found sobriety to be an emotional experience because essentially, everything is changing. The entire brain is being restructured.

Personally, I began smoking in high school as both a coping mechanism and to connect with other people around me. Over the years, I would hear about the benefits of quitting smoking, but no one shared with me that marijuana would essentially become a 'friend' that I would grieve the loss of.

&& while it is nice to think about all of the good times, and fun times that you had together (if you can remember) I encourage you think about all of the ways the addiction negatively affected your life. Because when the urges come (and they will) it's easy to think about the warm and fuzzy feelings, but I want you to remember when you went digging weed out of the trash bin, felt extreme anxiety when the weed man didn't respond in sufficient time, and when you chose to go get high, instead of spending time with someone you love.

Marijuana often starts as a coping mechanism but can easily turn in a toxic relationship. I encourage you to focus on your personal progress, as well as focus on the benefits that sobriety can offer.

Lastly, please show kindness to yourself, especially as you're transitioning out of consistent use 🫂

I just could not understand why I wasn't able to quit smoking. There were several years where I would tell myself on a daily basis, 'This is the last time.' But it wasn't- I was lying to myself. It wasn't intentional, there was simply something more authoritative operating beneath the surface.

In this episode we'll discuss ⤵️

1) The conscious mind & the subconscious (authoritative) mind:

Why the 12% of willpower that humans supposedly have simply cannot compete with an authoritative mind that is hardwired with unhelpful associations.

2) The survival filter of the brain:

This is the way your brain categorizes habits. Your brain has associated smoking as being 'safe, familiar, and comfortable.' Knowing the way this process works equips you to give yourself grace as you're actively rewiring the synapses in your brain.

3) Making friends with the gatekeeper:

How guided meditation helps the conscious mind bypass the filter of the subconscious mind. This allows you to rewrite the highways in your brain more quickly.

4) Optimal times of day to intentionally rewire your brain:

The moments right before falling asleep, and immediately upon rising is a wonderful time to imprint information in your brain.

Thank you so much for tuning into my venting session. In todays episode, I'm sharing how things have been in the weeks leading up to my first therapy appointment since that recent traumatic incident.

I scheduled an appointment with Seven Counties, however, things didn't work out with that company. Although, I can see how they'd be considered a wonderful resource for people in need of mental/ physical health assistance.

Thankfully, the SI thoughts that I was experiencing following that event have subsided, and I've been able to truly focus on building Better Habits Together and preparing to go back to school.

I know that I will be able to sign my name on a deed to a house that I own one day. && I'll be able to feel safe. I also know that I'll reach the point of having financial security/stability.

I'm sharing the steps that I'm taking to nurture my mental health, my physical health, as well as my spiritual health.

As well as sharing bit into something that I'm working on behind the scenes. I appreciate you being here to listen 💚👑

As mentioned above, we've had one heck of an introduction. I suppose you all needed the full context of who exactly is behind the voice of this podcast. I feel that people deserve to know who they're taking advice from, interacting with, and being entertained by.

Heck, I'm still look at products that I've put together && surprise myself. It could be because writing is literally a gift of mine. Sometimes things come to my head that I haven't researched, and then I'll look it up && I'm like, 'oohhh I see.' && oftentimes I am just curious about something, so I'll research it, and write about it.

I'm basically my first student. I'm literally in the process of reviewing the information that I'm putting out, and I'm able to benefit from it as well. That is exactly why my website is called, 'Better Habits Together' because you're able to watch me grow, develop, and elevate in real time. && hopefully, you're also in the process of making adjustments in your life. We're cheering for one another other through the ether!

What's changing??

Wow, I initially thought I was going to only be discussing my disappointments and frustrations with the corporate world and working odd jobs. I didn't anticipate me sharing my fears living in my apartment due to a maintenance man bursting through the door and refusing to leave. But it has led me to fully see that I have allowed myself to be in this situation that I am in because I wasn't financially stable. This must change. && this is how I'm going to change it. In this episode, I'm going to be 'walking' you though how to leverage vast.ai to download opensource ai models. I was looking at platforms such as Leonardo.ai and Midjourney, as well as many others to create a consistent ai character for my brand. && the monthly overhead was too much for me- especially considering the fact that the platforms are so heavily filtered.

I mean, rightfully so. I want everyone to remain safe, but I also want to be able to create my ai videos the way that I want them to be created.

Personally, I have several scripts that have been on my computer for years, I'd like to use ai to bring the concepts to life. This could be both expensive and time consuming on popular platforms. I also use editing tools that are too massive for the computer that I currently have.

Vast.ai is literally allowing us to rent computer space. So not only can you download ai models, but you can download editing tools, games, and whatever else you normally wouldn't be able to with your limited processing power.

Claude.ai is the chatbot that helped walk me through the process. Initially, I was going to share with you the same cheat sheet that it shared with me but figured it would be better for it to create a more detailed version for you all. I'll preface by saying that I personally do not use ai to write, I do, however, use ai as my personal tech support. So again, I'll be sharing a document that was drafted by Claude for you specifically. If at any time you get confused, ask your own chatbot- not me.

In this video I'm following up from my very first podcast episode. Something very strange took place while I was recording the first video. Honestly, it's been so upsetting that I turned to the crisis hotline to speak with a trained professional. I share my experience, of what took place in that moment and how grateful I am to have had access to this resource during a crisis.

I began to wonder, 'am I attracting these frightening situations into my life?' I know that I'm not responsible for the actions of other people, but I do believe that my energy has played a role in attracting some of these situations. Therefore, I acknowledge my part, am I am committed to making changes on a subconscious level.

These moments do not define me. I'm thankful that I have learned lessons from them that I will take with me into the future.
