<itunes:title>The Weight We Carry & The Moments We Keep</itunes:title>

In this raw and heartfelt episode, I’m opening up about the mental load no one really talks about the invisible responsibilities of managing a home, raising kids, paying bills, and how all of it quietly impacts our stress and relationships.

At the same time, I’m slowing down and soaking in every moment with my newborn because the reality that this could be my last baby hits deep. I’m embracing the beauty, the chaos, the exhaustion… and yes, taking all the pictures.

We’re also celebrating wins like my niece absolutely killing it at her district track meet (24.33 and coming for that 23.8 👏🏾), and the joy of being part of a truly special surprise baby shower for Jowell.

But let’s be real this season isn’t without pressure. Unpaid maternity leave has me tapping into savings and thinking hard about building more for myself and my future.

I’m also talking about something every parent navigates: disciplining with love. How to be firm, set boundaries, and still make sure your kids feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.

And finally taking that first step back into me. Starting my fitness journey four weeks postpartum after a C-section, giving myself grace while building back strength, physically and mentally.

This episode is a mix of honesty, pride, pressure, growth, and gratitude because this season of life is all of it at once.

Before going into labor, we all build expectations about what it will look like, feel like, and how we’ll handle it. In this episode, I talk through what I expected, what I’ve learned along the way, and why labor rarely follows the plan we create in our heads. Also learning that rest is important—but when you’re someone who thrives on movement, productivity, and momentum, sitting still can feel uncomfortable. In this episode I talk about the struggle of slowing down and why not feeling productive can mess with your mindset.

Also many of us hold ourselves to extremely high standards. In this episode I talk about self-criticism, where it comes from, and how to push yourself to be better without constantly feeling like you’re falling short.

From choosing peace over pressure to redefining what “doing it all” really means, this is about owning my journey, trusting my instincts, and building a home rooted in love, growth, and alignment. From paying attention to the signs the universe keeps sending (hello angel numbers 👼🏽🔢) to navigating nonstop heartburn at 36–37 weeks pregnant… the spiritual girlies and the pregnant girlies are both outside.

It’s reflective. It’s hormonal. It’s spiritual. It’s slightly acidic (thanks, heartburn).

Tap in. 🎙️💛

In this episode, we’re sitting down for a real, honest catch-up about life — the kind where everything is on the table. From navigating unexpected home repairs and everyday stress, to the feeling of having a full plate but an empty spoon, we talk about what it really means to keep showing up when you’re tired but still trying.

We dive into parenting and how children’s behavior changes as they grow, learning alongside them while doing our best. We also highlight the importance of spending quality time with family, including cheering loud and proud while supporting our baby cousin in the 5A state championship football game 🏈❤️.

The conversation shifts to needs vs. wants, especially during hard times around the holidays, when emotions, finances, and expectations can all feel heavier than usual. We also wrap things up with a final workout stretch and post-baby fitness talk, focusing on grace, patience, and progress over perfection.

Along the way, we share a little self-awareness (yes… I notice I say “like” and “stuff like that” way too much 😅), and most importantly, we continue to promote therapy — because healing, support, and mental health matter just as much as anything else we talk about here.

Grab your coffee, take a deep breath, and join us for a conversation that’s honest, supportive, and full of heart. You’re not alone — and you don’t have to do life by yourself. 💛🎙️

🎙️ Welcome to the podcast where real life gets the mic.

This is the unapologetically honest space where single parenting meets “I’m doing this by myself and still showing up.” We talk coparenting with no coparent, navigating youth sports life like it’s a full-time job (because it is), and why therapy isn’t a weakness—it’s maintenance.

Expect laughs, side-eyes, and a few “wait…same” moments as we get into questionable taste in men, setting relationship boundaries that actually stick, and learning how to give ourselves some long-overdue self-praise.

Oh—and if the conversations bounce a little? That’s the ADHD, baby. We embrace it here. Tangents welcome. Realness required.

If you’re healing, growing, parenting, overthinking, or just trying to keep it together with humor and honesty—this podcast is for you. Come for the stories, stay for the laughs, and leave feeling a little more seen. 💛
