I’m a Black woman, a writer, an author, a wife, and a mom. Through my ups and downs with depression and anxiety, I’ve become intentional about healing, learning my history, developing self-love, and finding joy in every moment. As a mental health advocate and a publisher of Black women writers, I am deeply aware of the power of the voice, and the importance of making sure all voices are heard. On this podcast, I hope to share my journey as well as introduce you to remarkable guests whose voices have been life changing for me.

I started this podcast to create a guide and companion for any person who is committed to personal transformation and stepping into their authentic purpose as a creator and entrepreneur. For me, my healing has been bound so closely with my journey as a writer, author, speaker, and entrepreneur. I want to share my journey and let people know that it’s okay to struggle or go through adversity - it doesn't make you any less worthy, it’s also okay to enjoy the moment, let joy in, and celebrate how far you’ve come on your journey. I hope that by sharing stories from my life, I can help other people heal and find their voices. I’ll also be engaging in conversations with some of my favorite authors and thinkers!
