    <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>American Legion Hardin Post 113</strong> is a local chapter of the national American Legion — the largest wartime veterans service organization in the United States, chartered by Congress in 1919 to support veterans and their families, promote patriotism, mentor youth, and serve communities.</p><p>Post 113 is a <strong>501(c)(19) nonprofit veterans organization</strong> headquartered at <strong>1251 Ring Road in Elizabethtown, Kentucky</strong>. It serves veterans throughout Hardin County and the surrounding region by providing community support, social activities, veteran resources, and a home base for veterans’ families.</p><p>🎖️ Mission &amp; Community Role</p><p>Aligned with the broader mission of The American Legion, Hardin Post 113 focuses on:</p><ul><li><strong>Veteran advocacy and support</strong> – assisting veterans and their families with resources and camaraderie.</li><li><strong>Community service and patriotism</strong> – participating in local events and supporting patriotic programs.</li><li><strong>Youth mentorship and engagement</strong> – through affiliated programs and family activities.</li><li><strong>Comradeship</strong> – offering a social hub and sense of fellowship for veterans.</li></ul>]]></description>
