Hosts Ariyan, Taran, and Tony are all experts in the field of literature and literary analysis. Together, we have countless hours of experience reading and understanding the works of some of our country’s most celebrated authors, with many of them being Indigenous. We came up with the idea of beginning a podcast over the pandemic and recently came together to make it come to fruition with the goal of educating Canadians about the message these writers and artists are conveying to us.

With Episode 1 recently released, we take a unique focus on checking out the works of a significant Indigenous writer in our country, Tanya Telaga, who is a writer for the Toronto Star, and Globe and Mail. We analyze several different contrasting works of Tanya Telaga, to develop a complete sense of the authorial choices she uses to create a tone and develop global impacts.

Sea to Sea explores not only the words and prepositions of Canadian authors, but the audience can respond to her in the comment sections. With certain comments supporting her ideas and against her solutions, we determine the effect her different articles have when responded to by the Canadian audience.
