"We are all on the same odyssey, a journey of life and dying --They both begin at the same time." Feliz Piez

I am the ghost writer: There is as wealth of wisdom to be discovered in the pages of the numerous writings and ramblings of Feliz Piez. I am forever grateful to the universe -- in having stumbled on his story -- for all I have learned about life, about living and about dying.

“To my intimate friend, Feliz, whoever you are. Here’s hoping you are dead but not “dead, dead” and I hope I never see you again. That will mean you have achieved your heart’s desire. Que Va!”

Feliz Piez violated an ancient oath, now he wants to kill himself, write his book and get to Cuba -- and not necessarily in that order -- so he hires a guru to kill him and a ghost writer to witness it, then he disappears. Herein, hear in his words the story of his life and dying -- if he is dead yet, whatever kind of dead he was seeking.

These Excerpts were taken from several boxes of notes he left for his ghost writer in Enigma, Georgia and from three satchels I discovered at the Royal Sands Resort in Cancun, Mexico. As the ghost writer presents in the first book of Excerpts he attempted to complete "... there may be some things in this writing that could possibly be presented in a chronological manner. However, I will not profess, nor could I, any sense of getting the chronology correct.

The material provided did not permit me a consistent understanding of when something happened, and the numbering of each excerpt has no meaning chronologically, or otherwise, except to give the reader a reference point.

Additionally, do not get drawn into a story line. These are excerpts—any expectation that a story line will take you somewhere and resolve the problems of the protagonist, will only bring you to a disappointing and frustrating lack of conclusion" Que va.
