<itunes:title>I Was Skeptical of Seed Cycling: Here's What Actually Happened</itunes:title>

When a naturopath first told me about seed cycling, I thought she was joking. Flax and pumpkin seeds for one half of your cycle, sesame and sunflower for the other half, to help balance your hormones? It sounded made up. Turns out there's real science behind it, and turns out I was wrong to write it off.

In this solo episode, I walk through exactly how seed cycling works: which seeds, which days, and why it lines up with what your body is already trying to do hormonally. I'm also direct about what it won't do. If your nutrition, sleep, and stress aren't already dialed in, seed cycling will not cover those gaps. It's not a stand-alone fix. But for women already doing the foundational work and still feeling like something's not quite balanced, this can be the extra push that gets you there.

I share how I use it myself (hint: it's in my smoothie), what the actual research says about flax and pumpkin supporting estrogen and sesame and sunflower supporting progesterone, and how to adapt the whole thing if you're in menopause and not tracking a cycle anymore.

If any part of this has you wondering what's actually going on with your hormones, the Feel Good Strategy Session is the place to start. Link in the show notes.

Autoimmune disease, migraines that needed an ice cap, a depression so deep she was terrified to even ask the question underneath it. On paper she had everything: the marketing career, the climb, every box checked.

In this episode, Elizabeth (soul liberation coach for women in what she calls their "unbecoming") walks through the moment that question finally caught up with her, the real difference between your inner critic and your actual intuition, and the guilt she says was never hers to carry in the first place. We talk about why suffering can start to feel safer than the unknown, what it looks like in a woman's body when she moves from bracing into her own power, and why being capable was never supposed to mean being responsible for everything.

If you've been handling it so well for so long that you've forgotten to ask whether you're okay, start here.

Connect with Elizabeth: Join her Clarity Circle: https://www.elizabethnealcoaching.com/offers/LBRzC4LJ/checkout

Website: https://elizabethnealcoaching.com/

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elizabethnealcoaching/

Substack: https://substack.com/@elizabethnealcoaching

Courtney Copeland burped for six months after her dad died suddenly. No soda, no reason. Just her body processing grief her mind hadn't caught up to yet.

Courtney is a trauma-informed counselor who walked away from her license so she could work with people beyond state lines. She's a Reiki practitioner and integrative somatic healer, and her clients call her their trauma bestie. She's sat with first responders, human trafficking survivors, and the caregivers nobody checks on.

In this episode: why healing isn't linear (the jack-in-the-box metaphor that made it click for me), how grief and stress actually show up in the body, from migraines to missed periods to pain that comes out of nowhere, and the one question Courtney asks every single client first: how's your shit.

If you've ever felt something in your body and thought "that's weird, I didn't do anything to cause that," this one's for you.

Find Courtney: www.thecourtneycopeland.com

If you are looking for more information: annievinje.com/why-am-i-tired-checklist

<itunes:title>The Visceral Fat Trap Nobody Warns Women About</itunes:title>

I have a marketing degree. I've worked in high-tech and small fitness studios. Which means I am incredibly easy to sell to — show me a woman lifting heavy or doing Pilates for "the shape you want" and my head goes, yes, that's what I should do.

That's the problem.

This week I'm talking about movement — not the Instagram version, the real one. What does your body actually want? Why is 10,000 steps a made-up number from a 1970s Japanese marketing team? Why does the same workout that used to work in your 30s now spike your stress instead? And why, once you hit perimenopause, does performing a workout instead of enjoying it work against you, landing straight in your visceral fat?

I share my own framework: move daily, hit your step number (not someone else's), lift heavy where your body can handle it, and stop performing for a class that isn't even watching you.

This week is about why she disappeared in the first place.

Personal trainer and pelvic floor specialist Byrd Graciano is back, and she and Annie are going somewhere most wellness conversations don't go: the question of whether you actually feel safe enough to live inside your own body. Not safe from the world, safe inside yourself. Safe enough to go slow in the grocery store. Safe enough to take up space. Safe enough to stop analyzing and start feeling.

They talk about what it means to run on code orange every time you walk out the door, why the feminine got shut down and what it costs your health when it does, and what perimenopause is actually asking of you - not a breakdown, a reawakening.

Plus the simple things that start to bring you back. This episode goes deep on why.

Byrd Graciano - personal trainer and pelvic floor specialist - joins me to talk about what's really behind midlife fatigue: the nervous system, the cortisol loop, perimenopause, and why high-functioning women are often the last to realize how dysregulated they've been running.

We cover the tired-and-wired cycle, the surprising connection between jaw tension and pelvic floor health, what rest actually means for your nervous system (hint: it's not an action movie on the couch), and the one awareness practice Byrd gives every new client before anything else.

If you've been going, going, going for 20 years and wondering why nothing is working - this is the episode.

Free checklist - Why Am I So Tired: annievinje.com/s/why_am_i_so_tired_checklist.pdf

In 2018, Annie Vinje hit a wall. Getting up at 4:45 for CrossFit, homeschooling three kids, tracking her food, doing all of it right, and more exhausted than she'd ever been.

Hair falling out. Wired at 2 am. Dragging. Doctors found nothing. Every diet failed. She finally told herself it was just her new normal. It wasn't.

In this solo episode, she shares what was actually going on, including a genetic mutation affecting iron storage that no standard test caught, why everything she tried kept missing the root cause, and the reframe that finally shifted things. Plus, a free checklist you can download right now if you've been doing everything right and still don't feel good.

Annie gets honest about something she hasn't wanted to say out loud: doing all the "right" things - the yoga, the meditation, the supplements, the stress regulation - and still not feeling good. This episode is about why. She traces the exhaustion most high-functioning women carry back to something deeper than sleep or nutrition: the years spent leaving the body, locking up the feminine, and living almost entirely in the masculine just to get through the day.

She shares the moment from a spiritual training where she found her feminine living in a dirt-floor shelter in rags - neglected, unseen, forgotten. And what it meant when she realized she'd been the one who locked the door. If you've been checking every box and still don't feel like yourself, this one might be the missing piece. annievinje.com

If you've been doing everything right for your health and still feel exhausted - this might be the missing piece. Annie sits down with Ari Jariwalla, CFP and founder of Jariwalla Financial Wellness, to talk about something most wellness conversations skip entirely: the direct link between money stress and your nervous system, your sleep, your energy, and your ability to actually follow through on your health goals.

Ari spent 14 years at Vanguard before starting her own firm three months ago - built for busy women who want peace of mind that their money is working as hard as they are. She shares the personal story of why she left (including a family health crisis that reframed everything), what financial stress actually looks like in the body, and why even high-earning women feel stuck in a constant cycle of anxiety about money.

They also get into the money mindset work - the childhood stories that follow us into adulthood, the lifestyle creep nobody talks about, and what it actually means to say "I love money" out loud in a room full of women entrepreneurs.

Practical, warm, and genuinely useful. This one connects dots you didn't know needed connecting.

Topics: financial stress and health, nervous system regulation, money mindset, women in midlife, life transitions, burnout recovery, flat-fee financial planning

annievinje.com

Have you ever sat in your kitchen on a Tuesday morning, coffee in hand, and thought — I guess this is just how I feel now? That moment is exactly why this show exists.I'm Annie Vinje — certified integrative health practitioner, meditation and yoga teacher, energy worker, and mom of three teenagers (plus three dogs who may or may not make a cameo). I've spent years helping real people feel better — not by overhauling their lives, but by finding what actually works for their specific body and their specific life.Because here's the thing: what works for your friend doesn't always work for you. That's not a character flaw. That's just how bodies work.In this first episode I'm talking about:→ Why 85% of us don't feel good — and why we've somehow decided that's okay→ Why generic wellness advice keeps failing specific people→ What this show is going to bring you every single week→ Real results from real people — including clients who got off anxiety medication and found energy they thought was gone for goodNo trends. No 47-step routines. No guilt. Just real, simple things that fit into your busy life.📖 Download the free Feel Good Every Day book at annievinje.com — quick wins you can start today.
