I am a notorious voicenote-podcaster ever since the beautiful Lebanese people taught me whatsapp voicenotes back in 2019 - changing the game for good! My brother refuses to listen to any voicenote I send, to this day, how mean! Anyways, a number of lovely beautiful people I am blessed enough to call friends have told me "I love your podcasts, you should actually do a podcast!" Apparently I have interesting stories to tell and I am capable of storytelling in a thrilling engaging way. It is true, all sorts of surreal and borderline crazy things happen to me as I travel through the world and life, so I can keep them - and myself! - entertained. I also do enjoy my musings - they always start with clarity and purpose (these are sustained in spite of how it may look like!) then I'm reminded of other things, diverge, converge, maze-like unfoldings happen and eventually I circle back to the points, I suppose my dear friends always get a whole bouquet of stories and thoughts they never imagined receiving in the first place, well the ones who stick to the ride. It seems that the time has finally come for me to pluck up the courage and share with a wider audience. Let's see where we go with this - I do promise laughter, fun and interesting bits of knowledge too!

I speak Hungarian, English, some Lebanese Arabic and Spanish - sometimes I will give you cocktails, with an unapologetic ease and elegance the Lebanese taught me, it is very liberating I must say! I shall never be shamed again for not remembering a word (have you forgotten your mother tongue?!!!!) or mis-pronouncing one that is not in my mother tongue (be my guest and try to say gyöngytyúk, yalla tfaddal!) - whatever you don't understand, sorry, I'm embracing my unique constellations and am done with dimming my light to please or not intimidate others, or my personal favourite: fit into boxes! - this is me, imperfect, sometimes clumsy, sometimes too much, sometimes awkward, and honest, caring, loving, genuinely curious and always ready to laugh from the heart at my own self and the ridiculousness of certain things and situations - I do think it is refreshing and liberating. Khalas, let's dive in & explore where this journey takes us.

Your co-host is the majestic Mata Hari, white queen coming from the trash containers of Bliss Street in Hamra, Beirut - with a Lebanese and a European passport, privileged! She is fierce! And also the most loving creature I have ever met.

Finally, there once was a seed of an idea and a collective dream to co-publish an academic book titled "F*ck Normality!" - it never happened in the end, and I keep holding the idea and desire within ever since - it is therefore an homage to this unborn book and effort-heart-soul-passion poured in - from my side, at least -, whilst it feels the perfect title for this podcast. If you want to know why, just tune in!
