Through conversations with five UCSD students from different backgrounds, we share personal stories of adjusting to a new environment, navigating cultural differences, dealing with homesickness, balancing academic pressure, overcoming language barriers, and finding a sense of belonging. By bringing these individual experiences together through an audio format, Far From Home creates a space where international students can share their emotions and perspectives in their own voices.

Our campaign aims to bring visibility to the often unseen struggles of international students, reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conversations, and encourage greater empathy within the UCSD community. Through storytelling and representation, we hope to build a more culturally aware campus environment where international students feel understood, supported, and less alone.
