But I believe that by confronting and understanding mortality, we can create a deeper appreciation for life, or at least make the best of a bad situation.

The idea behind this podcast started simply with a question… and a realization that I did not know the answer.

I’m all for searching online, but I wanted to learn more, firsthand, by asking professionals in different industries to explain it to me.

I hope these discussions about varying death topics, with experts in the industry, will help me, and all of us, to better understand what we may not know .

On this podcast, I’ll dive into various aspects of death and dying, from personal stories to cultural traditions, industry leaders and scientific perspectives.

Join me as I navigate the complexities like:

End-of-life care

Discovering green burials

Cultural attitudes toward death and mourning

Personal stories of loss

How to write and place an obituary notice

The science of dying

The Afterlife

How to write a will.

Historical and philosophical perspectives on mortality

I’ll even have a few laughs along the way… because, sometimes, funny things happen at funerals! Laughing will often help us navigate the topic of death! It even helps us heal.

I want to assure you that this podcast won't be morbid or depressing. Instead, we will be learning how to prepare ourselves, or our families. Perhaps by just starting the discussion.

I truly appreciate you joining me on this journey. Don't forget to subscribe to the Fading Away Podcast and be part of the conversation.

If you have thoughts, stories, or questions, please share them on social media using #FadingAwayPodcast.
