      <description><![CDATA[<p>In this episode, Kirsteen Donaghy takes us through her career as a champion for Education Technology and the impact neoliberalism and hegemony has had on these opportunities and hidden agendas. Kirsteen describes some of the potential that technology offered in language teaching to enhance pedagogical approaches and the approaches she was involved in teaching digital literacies to teachers. For over twenty years, Kirsteen has recognised the importance of adapting instructional strategies to effectively engage with digital tools and resources. But finally, we go onto face the darker side of ethical considerations and responsibilities associated with using technology in the classroom, including issues related to student privacy, child safeguarding, digital citizenship, and equitable access to resources.</p>]]></description>
