Sat, 16 Jul 2022 08:25:53 GMT

Karif's been worried about uploading this episode, as it's one-hundred thousand percent late and there's a new format available. For those who want to listen about Karif and dRafter's experiences with the multiplayer extravaganza Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate and also Catan socks, this is the episode for you.

Episode 004: "Politics Are The Scourge of the Earth" Commander Legends: Baldur's Gate Draft Primer and Ruminations

Sun, 05 Jun 2022 10:57:40 GMT

Battle for Baldur's Gate is still a week away from actually releasing, and it's time to listen to two people that fit the casual/competitive skew this draft format's going for talk about archetypes and strategies that they definitely knew beforehand.

Josh and Alex read a funny pamphlet that goes over draft archetypes and then proceed to need that pamphlet as they haven't read any card in the format before this episode, and then talk about how politics in Commander is a scourge upon the earth but how they're super important. Supplemental sets are usually a doozie, and Baldur's Gate is no different.

Episode 003: "Everybody Else Already Knows Tricks Are Good" The Somewhat Late Second Look at Streets of New Capenna

Mon, 23 May 2022 10:33:16 GMT

Newly Mythic-ranked Drafter (at the time of recording, this podcast is late due to Josh/Karif's personal life being a mess) dRafterDemon/Alex schools everyone on how combat tricks work in Streets of New Capenna and Karif tries to figure out why they're so important to the format so he's not blind-sided by them ever again if they happen to be good. Karif still sounds like he's an old man in a rocking chair, dRafter still sounds like he's got LSV's mic quality, it's a good time.

Episode 000: Streets of New Capenna Complete Commons and Uncommons Set Review/Pilot

Fri, 29 Apr 2022 23:49:19 GMT

In order to prove themselves worthy of a podcast, Karif and dRafter decide to torture themselves by going over every single common and uncommon in the upcoming Streets of New Capenna set. Karif gets excited about Patch Up (incorrectly, most likely), and dRafter tries to convince Karif that Goldhound is the real deal.
